Our client for this custom piece came to us as a referral. He admired a ring we had designed for his friend. With images of that ring, we wanted to create something in the same vein, but unique and personal to our new client. We decided on a large free-form shaped rose cut sapphire and a simple contour setting to highlight the unique shape and details of the stone. What a lovely project.
